How to Tune into our Knowing
Many people have asked me how we could better tune into ourselves. Here is an interview with Able Wanamakok where I shared how you, too, can tune into your knowing to live and speak your truth.
The interview was full of fun, laughter, great energy and a lot of wonderful exchanges. I was so charged up afterwards I could barely sleep that evening!
The word “knowing” is still relatively new to most people. It wasn’t that long ago when the word “mindfulness” was at the same spot but look at where it is now and its impact, directly and indirectly, to our daily life.
If you are new to “knowing”, I hope you get a good preliminary understanding from the interview. If you already know what knowing is, then I hope the interview gives you some food for thought if not great insights to ponder upon.
Here are the subjects and timelines to help you navigate the 40-minutes interview:
00:00 – Intro
02.42 – How did I come to do what I do?
07:10 – What is Knowing?
08:56 – How do we know if we are living our truth, our authentic self?
11:17 – How do we address fear? How do we deal with the pressure from others?
16:05 – Suggestions for the younger generation, people who have controlling people around them or who may not have a strong character
17:44 – Measurement of happiness and life
19:44 – Advice on “when we feel something but we can’t identify what it is”
26:33 – Our expectations on Knowing
28:30 – Does our mind ever trick us into thinking we are doing what we want but we don’t?
38:20 – Yoga and meditation – Is it for everyone?
Able had some fantastic feedback after our interview. Do drop me a line and let me know your thoughts on the interview 😉
“Thank you so much, Kitty. Seriously, that was really really amazing. You have so much wisdom and some of the things you said were just not in my head at all and I really learned a lot from you. Thank you so much for your time and for sharing your wisdom with us. It was so fun.. You helped me and I am sure you helped Bendy and Ed and some of the other regulars who are watching the series. I had such a great time and I am glad you enjoyed it as well.” – Able Wanamakok, Int’l Presenter (Emcee) based in Thailand, Ex-news anchors, TEDxSpeaker, Presenter Coach
